The Course des Lumières returns on Saturday, November 21, 2026, offering a unique opportunity to support the Institut Curie while exploring Paris at night. Whether you prefer the 5km or 10km distance, you can participate individually, with friends, or with colleagues in this solidarity-driven event. Starting from the Port des Champs-Élysées at 15:00, this year's edition introduces a brand new 10km timed format. Participants are welcomed into a festive atmosphere featuring a race village and catering options, making it a perfect occasion to combine physical challenge with a charitable cause in the heart of the 8th arrondissement.

Participating in the race means:

Offering support to the Institut Curie, sharing a moment of conviviality and solidarity with family, friends, or colleagues, rediscovering Paris at nightfall, challenging yourself, surpassing your limits, or simply enjoying the experience.

Formats for everyone: 5km Race, Walk, or 10km Race. New for 2026: Opening of a 10km timed format! Departure from Port des Champs-Élysées from 3:30 PM to 8:30 PM, arrival at Port de la Bourdonnais between 4:30 PM and 10:00 PM. Festive atmosphere at Stade Emile Anthoine (DJ, Food trucks) and corporate village from 3:00 PM to 9:30 PM.

Our take on this event

Join the Course des Lumières on Saturday, November 21, 2026, for a memorable sporting event dedicated to supporting the Institut Curie. Choose from a variety of formats including the 10km timed race, the 10km and 5km Lumières runs, the 5km corporate race, or the charity walk. Races depart from the Port des Champs-Élysées between 15:30 and 20:30, with the finish line located at the Port de la Bourdonnais, where runners are expected to arrive between 16:30 and 22:00.

Beyond the race, a vibrant atmosphere awaits at the Stade Émile Anthoine. From 15:00 to 21:30, the event village will be open, featuring food trucks and a DJ set to ensure a lively experience for all participants. This paid event is a fantastic way to enjoy the Parisian night while contributing to medical research.
