About
The Musée Bourdelle hosts a unique textile workshop inspired by the exhibition The Artist's Fabric. Designed for adults aged 18 and over, this session teaches you how to revitalize old, stained, or torn sweaters using embroidery and visible mending techniques. Bring your own sweater to customize during this three-hour creative deep dive into artistic craftsmanship. The workshop is inclusive and fully accessible, welcoming participants in wheelchairs and those with cognitive disabilities. It is the perfect opportunity to learn sustainable fashion skills while exploring the museum's artistic atmosphere in the heart of Paris.
To keep warm during long work sessions, many artists wear a turtleneck. During this workshop, participants can give a second life to their holey, stained, or felted sweaters through embroidery and visible mending.
Note: for this workshop, participants must bring their own sweater to repair.
