About

On November 19, 2026, the FGO-Barbara venue in Paris' 18th arrondissement hosts the Ici Demain festival, a showcase of rising musical talents. The event features live performances from 100KIKI, Ave Amapola, Ellie Becker, Ile de Garde, and Marco Ferreira. This showcase is strictly for adults aged 18 and over and runs from 19:30 to 23:30. Whether you are into electronic-fused emo, synth-wave with spoken word elements, or minimalist indie songwriting, this night offers a curated look at the current underground scene. Be sure to book your tickets in advance to secure your spot for this eclectic evening of discovery.

100KIKI

100kiki is a Paris-based artist whose emop3 music fuses dark indie, electronic music, and emo culture. After several years as a touring drummer for artists like Jeanne Added, Max Baby, billie, and Vera Daisies, and training at the Paris Conservatory, 100kiki found inspiration for this solo project during a stay in Montreal. hello world marks their debut—a 5-track EP written, composed, and produced solo, exposing their struggle with anxiety. Each song explores a different nuance—fear of uncomfortable truths (word cuts), performative kindness (am i a dog to u), fear of abandonment (hearts cook brains), claustrophobic intimacy (get out), risk-taking in vulnerability (risk it)—through dreamcore soundscapes where their hushed voice contrasts with production featuring saturated guitars and arpeggiated synths, transforming intimate confession into explosive liberation.

AVE AMAPOLA

For Ave, music belongs to no genre, but to a character, a personality. A French-Spanish singer-songwriter based in Barcelona, she navigates between electro-pop, sometimes Latin, sometimes rock sounds, with Arabic influences, blending genres without ever setting limits. Her imagination is fueled by encounters: she observes people without speaking, to better sing about them. The images she captures are inserted into a series of symbols that resonate with her personal history. Alongside her artistic project, she also writes and composes for other artists. She evolves between these two roles with the same demand and passion.

ELLIE BECKER

Ellie was born into an artistic school run by her parents, surrounded by dance, singing, and cinema. Nourished from childhood by Charles Aznavour, Lauryn Hill, and Michael Jackson, as well as the rock and electro her brother listened to, she developed an instinctive and genre-free relationship with music early on. In her teens, her influences widened. She turned to more direct songwriting after discovering Orelsan's lyrics, then to the pop of her generation with artists like Jorja Smith, Raye, Billie Eilish, or Olivia Dean. She started piano at 6, guitar at 15, and quickly began composing as a self-taught musician. After graduating, she moved to London to study production and songwriting at the BIMM Institute, where she made her first demos before returning to Paris to create her first EP. Ellie is now developing a project focused on intimacy. Titled "Itinéraire d'une enfant perdue," it will be released in stages in 2026, with four initial singles followed by two additional tracks.

ILE DE GARDE

Ile de Garde isn't just a clever pun in homage to the blessed Teutonic mystic, it's also an opportunity to learn that yes, the place exists on the shores of the eponymous lake, and no, we can't afford to go there. And it's the name chosen by the trio freshly signed to Born Bad/Carpaccio Cathédrale, who offer six synth-wave tracks relying on a drums/keyboards/spoken-word formation. It won't be for everyone, which is just as well. More "narrator" than singer, Klara Coudrais acts out the lyrics, embodies characters, and puts on a show in French and English, depending on the circumstances. The narrative exposes a controlled and clinical anger, establishes the facts, whether it's settling a score with a jerk or observing a couple falling apart. Sylvia Plath in the style of Diamanda Galás, she harangues the audience, a risky exercise if there ever was one. It sometimes flirts with singing, backing vocals provide support, and we're curious to see where it leads them. Neither John nor Karen Carpenter, Cécile Aurégan, on synths, overlays square refrains to produce dense and enveloping soundscapes. Entrée-main-dessert, but the trio has a strong stomach, given their English tour last year. And on the other side, Morgane Poulain taps placidly on her drums; it's rich, there are fills to spare and small, discreet breaks. The drums have the elegance of being slightly under-mixed to achieve a hyper-harmonic overall color. From one track to the next, the combo doesn't give in to ease, even for "To Death," an ode to free dance at the end of the Anthropocene for people in a bad spot. "Don't be shy / You know you're gonna die," the chorus is well-known; they revisit it without getting lost in it. Clothilde Carton designed the cover for this EP mixed in a "good-natured" way by Julien Fourcin. Ile de Garde takes the word, the body, and the story. Rage Blossom is a start; you have to be there.

MARCO FERREIRA

Marco Ferreira is 24 years old. He writes, composes, arranges, produces, and sings, but above all, he swims against the current by delivering woody, modern, and minimalist indie chanson—an audacity in itself in an era of overproduction and the race for perfection. His voice with its singular grain, his particular guitar playing, and his chiaroscuro personality sketch the temperament of a Franco-Portuguese Tamino, who has no need to do too much to be heard. Transparency and opacity of texts, smoothness and roughness of music and arrangements, lightness and darkness of songs: Marco Ferreira signs with his "chanson 3.0" a proposal as surprising as it is obvious.

MITTY

Mitty, a singer-songwriter, developed artistic sensitivity at a very young age, and it is music that ends up channeling everything. Eight years of piano, seven years of singing, it is in writing and composition that she finally found her space, her own way of putting words to what she feels and telling her world. In her teens, she began writing her first songs. Writing quickly established itself as the heart of her project: a place without constraints where she translates her emotions, puts words to the unspeakable, and builds something from her experience. Accompanied by two musician friends, she explores sounds that mix indie-pop, electro, and influences like Saya Gray, Tiffany Day, or EAR. In 2022, the trio tried their luck at the Rock en Seine springboard competition and won it, with a performance on this iconic stage as the prize. An experience that confirmed to Mitty that this is indeed her path. Initially English-speaking, her writing gradually shifted toward French, naturally, with the desire to get even closer to those who listen to her. In March 2026, she released her first single, "Internet," which has already accumulated nearly 800,000 streams. Fully involved in the creation of her tracks, she composes, writes, and thinks of each title as a fragment of herself. Mitty is currently preparing an EP scheduled for the fall.

NO SEX LAST NIGHT

Based in Paris, No Sex Last Night reclaims cold wave and EBM in a highly contemporary version. Stacking loops and hypnotic energy, the duo chants simple but cruelly lucid lyrics in French.

RITA L'OUJDIA

Rita L'Oujdia is a versatile and independent Franco-Moroccan artist, at once a singer, songwriter, producer, and sound engineer. Her music is an experimental mix that bridges the gap between her classical training at the Lyon Conservatory and her cultural roots in Oujda, resulting in a signature sound that fuses reggaeton, raï, chaâbi, and pop. Her work often explores themes of diasporic identity and female emancipation, embodied in her striking collaboration with producer Zouj on the track "2choufat." Accompanied by a music video shot in her hometown of Oujda, it perfectly illustrates this dual belonging: an artist who embraces her origins while fully engaging with the current musical landscape.

Our take on this event

The Ici Demain festival takes over FGO-Barbara on Thursday, November 19, 2026, for a night dedicated to emerging artists. From 19:30 to 23:30, the venue hosts a lineup of five distinctive acts. 100KIKI kicks things off with an emop3 style that blends distorted guitars with personal lyrics. The night also features the trio Ile de Garde, who deliver a synth-wave performance rooted in narrative spoken word and dense electronic soundscapes. The lineup is rounded out by Marco Ferreira, who brings a minimalist, modern indie-chanson approach to the stage. This event is strictly for attendees aged 18 and over.

Located at 1 Rue de Fleury in the 18th arrondissement, FGO-Barbara provides an intimate setting for these performances. Tickets are available via paid reservation. This is an opportunity to experience a diverse array of independent music in one of the city's most vibrant cultural spaces.
