About

UNDERSTAND THE FOOD SYSTEM AND IMAGINE THE ONE OF TOMORROW

What does the system behind what we eat every day look like? And above all, how could we transform it to allow everyone to have access to chosen, high-quality food? At Communale Saint-Ouen, come and participate in the Food Social Security Mural, a collaborative workshop offered by La Marmite Rouge.

For 2.5 hours, you are invited to reflect collectively on the inner workings of the agro-industrial system and its impacts. In pairs or small groups, you will build a first mural to identify the actors of the current food system, understand its mechanisms, and highlight the resulting challenges.

After a short break, it's time for the second part of the workshop: imagine with the other participants what a Food Social Security could be. Together, you will explore its major principles, its fundamental pillars, and how it works, drawing in particular on experiments conducted throughout France.

Designed as a tool for popular education, this mural invites us to question our habits, our choices, and the systems that organize our food, while opening the discussion on collective solutions.

Join us on Thursday, October 15 at Communale Saint-Ouen, for a moment of exchange, reflection, and collective construction. The workshop is open to everyone aged 15 and up and is completely free, limited to 18 participants.
