Our take on this event

City streets become a massive playground where curiosity takes the lead. Whether you're racing through a bike course, crafting with recycled materials, or getting artistic, there is an endless supply of hands-on activities to keep everyone entertained.

On Saturday, October 10, 2026, the Rue de la Bienfaisance in the 8th arrondissement becomes a pedestrian playground for the Fête des rues aux enfants. From 10:00 to 13:00, this free event invites families to enjoy a variety of outdoor activities and workshops. Whether you want to test your balance on a bike course, get creative with arts and crafts, or discover local community initiatives, there is something for everyone. This unique neighborhood celebration turns the street into a vibrant hub of activity, providing a perfect opportunity for families to gather and enjoy a morning of fun in the heart of Paris.

The Fête des rues aux enfants takes over Rue de la Bienfaisance on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 10:00 to 13:00. This entirely free event offers a diverse range of activities for visitors of all ages to enjoy in an open-air setting.

Active participants can test their skills on the DPMP giant board game or the bike course, while the Caisse des écoles offers the chance to pedal for a smoothie. Artistic souls can create bracelets from recycled bike tires with the Recyclerie Sportive, explore calligraphy with the Franco-Chinese Workshops, or join coloring sessions hosted by Clee Innovation. The CAUE will also be on-site with chalk drawing activities and creative surprises.

In addition to the games, the event hosts several information stands. You can learn about volunteer opportunities through L'Heure Civique, discover the Pass Culture, or subscribe to the town hall newsletter. Mother Group will also provide child-focused entertainment, including sessions in English. This is a great occasion to engage with local services and enjoy a morning of community-focused fun.
