Evening: "Committing in retirement: giving time, giving meaning"
Retirement is often the perfect chapter to redefine one's purpose and pour energy back into the community. Discover the inspiring stories of seniors who turn their spare time into meaningful social action at this special evening dedicated to the power of volunteering.

About
In Paris, 481,000 people are over 60 years old. By 2030, seniors will represent a quarter of the Parisian population. Faced with these demographic changes, how can we best support the "well-being" of seniors after retirement? Among the ideas suggested by seniors themselves: the idea of getting involved, of giving time to one another. To hear them talk, being a volunteer – whether occasional or regular – seems to be the strongest bulwark against isolation.
An evening to discover, discuss, and inspire involvement
La Fabrique de la Solidarité invites you to discover the living portraits of seniors who get involved every day, gathered in an exclusive exhibition produced by the City of Paris.
The evening will open with a performance by the choir "Les Vieilles" and will continue around this exhibition, followed by a roundtable discussion bringing together researchers, representatives of the Council on Aging and the City of Paris, committed non-profit actors, and residents.
Together, we will examine the levers that allow us to better support senior involvement and accompany those who would like to get started themselves.
