Sambo the little lion
Forget fierce roars, Sambo is a lion who prefers singing over baring his teeth. Accompanied by traditional rhythms and enchanting puppets, this musical journey invites your little ones to discover the heart of the African savannah through stories and songs. It is the perfect cozy adventure to brighten up your weekend family outings.

About
Sambo is a little lion unlike any other. Unlike lions that roar, Sambo loves to sing. Unlike the other little ones, Sambo does not have a security blanket.
However, without a security blanket, what does he do when he wants to go to sleep? Without a security blanket, what happens when he is tired? Without a security blanket, what does he do to console himself when he is sad?
Through a short story, we discover the daily life of this exceptional little lion.
Accompanied by puppets, a djembe, a balafon, and a sanza, we travel through the African savanna by singing, snapping our fingers, and clapping our hands or tapping our thighs.
Storytelling and music by Bibata Roamba (Veenem company).
A storyteller, actress, and dancer, Bibata Roamba is originally from Burkina Faso. Living in France since 2002, she continues to explore the persistence of narrative and orality solo, or in the company of other artists.
She travels through the Mossi tales and legends that marked her childhood. In a desire to renew storytelling, she also works on contemporary stories, mixing other artistic disciplines such as singing, dancing, and music, and it is with a desire for sharing and transmission that she plays, sings, and tells stories for young and old in the collection "Les contes d'Afrique" from Ptits totems éditions.
