About
Benjamin AUFFRAY began his musical journey at the age of 5.
First a student at the NANTES Conservatory (violin section) for 9 years, he obtained his Certificate of Completion at the Lons-le-Saunier conservatory in 2004.
It was at this time that he discovered adapted holidays for people with disabilities. For several years, he participated in a company producing musical tales, performed his creations in the streets, and worked in care and entertainment.
NO MONARK
His first solo project after 15 years of music and writing in bands, featuring psychological self-exposure and the expression of strong emotions. Because talking about oneself is sometimes the best way to talk to others without pretense.
A common geometry, centered on loops, where music and lyrics intersect. This is the ambition of NO MONARK: to describe his vision of the world through poetic writing on a rap foundation, with, of course, song in the mix, as it has been a source of inspiration for a long time.
Shyness, humor, beauty, a good dose of melancholy, and a bit of anger, because that is how our artist experiences the world; and that is what he wants to tell.
BUSKI (Opening act)
After 2 years touring the jam5000 project, it's time to lace up the cleats again: new lineup, new tracks, but keeping the same recipe: rap lyrics between humor and poetry, and 100% instrumental productions carried by three musicians who venture into every style—sometimes rock, French pop, Brazilian funk, little ballads, and danceable tracks. And as usual... a few surprises await you.
