"Family Affair" was born from a musical and family encounter around a shared passion for jazz. This adventure took on its full meaning with the desire to share the stage with our respective children, in order to keep a family tradition alive.

Through this quartet, the musicians wish to highlight a sometimes overlooked musical heritage by exploring a repertoire dedicated to female jazz composers, whose essential contribution to the history of this music has too often been relegated to the background.

Between respect for tradition and freedom of interpretation, the quartet brings generations together around the same musical language, celebrating both the legacy of jazz and the place of the women who have contributed to its evolution. An artistic project driven by sharing and the desire to help the public discover treasures of the jazz repertoire.
