About

The Agora de la santé in the 18th arrondissement hosts an afternoon dedicated to exploring the intersection of psychological distress and artistic creation. On Wednesday, October 14, 2026, from 14:00 to 18:00, attendees are invited to a series of discussions featuring practitioners and artists examining how creativity impacts personal recovery and clinical practice. This event is free of charge and open to the public, offering a platform for theoretical insights and practical experiences, followed by an open debate with the audience to continue the dialogue on the therapeutic value of art.

The fields of artistic creation and psychic suffering are often closely linked. Through testimonies, theoretical approaches, and practical experiences, this workshop invites reflection on the role of creation in life journeys and support practices, and proposes exploring the links between creation, mental health, and transformation through different perspectives and experiences.

The discussions will address the social value of therapy and creation, the role of art in processes of transformation and resistance, as well as the place of creativity in clinical practices. The meeting will also allow for the exploration of how artistic practices can foster expression, self-affirmation, connection with others, and soothing.

The presentations will be followed by a discussion with the audience, to continue the reflection and share experiences.
