The Saveurs savantes event takes over the Pierre et Marie Curie campus from October 6 to 11, 2026, to explore the intersection of science and flavor. As part of the 35th Fête de la Science, Sorbonne University opens its doors to reveal how research shapes our culinary experiences. Whether you are a science enthusiast or simply curious about the chemistry of taste, this event offers a range of interactive displays and exhibitions. Admission to the campus is free, and the entire site is wheelchair accessible, ensuring that everyone can comfortably participate in the weekend activities.
The biggest Parisian event dedicated to science, the Fête de la Science at Sorbonne University, puts taste and flavors in the spotlight this year!
From October 6 to 11, 2026, Sorbonne University opens its campuses and laboratories for the Fête de la Science. The theme of this 35th edition, "Scientific Flavors," honors taste and flavors.
From Tuesday, October 6 to Friday, October 9, school groups are welcomed by research teams. The weekend of October 10 and 11 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM, the event is open to everyone, without conditions and free of charge: workshops, laboratory tours, booths, games, and exhibitions.

Sorbonne University invites you to discover the science behind our food during the Saveurs savantes event. From Tuesday, October 6, to Friday, October 9, the campus hosts school groups, providing students with direct access to research facilities and experts.
The event opens to the general public on the weekend of October 10 and 11, running from 12:00 to 18:00. Attendees can engage with science through laboratory tours, hands-on workshops, games, and educational exhibitions hosted across the Pierre et Marie Curie campus at 4, place Jussieu.
Access to the campus is fully wheelchair accessible. While participation is free of charge, visitors are strongly advised to book their tickets in advance to ensure entry to the various activities available.
