About

With the Glitter Tales (Contes à Paillettes), the artists from the Les Paillettes collective question our era by drawing on the symbolic and universal power of fairy tales. Through a rigorous selection of children's books that address issues of inclusion and equality and celebrate all differences, and with the help of colorful characters in heels, the collective opens up imaginations, plays with stereotypes, questions the normalization of representations, and cultivates a breeze of freedom that captivates both young and old. By listening to these stories, project yourself into universes where all destinies are possible, where everyone can be whoever they wish to be.

The Paillettes collective also offers guided tours of the exhibition Semons nos résistances.

Our take on this event
