Parisian Week of Prints and Drawings Galleries

8th edition of the "Parisian Week of Prints and Drawings Galleries" from October 23 to November 1, 2026.

This year, the route takes place when Paris is once again dedicated to art through internationally recognized fairs that attract enthusiasts, collectors, and professionals.

The route brings together members of the CSEDT (Chambre Syndicale de l’Estampe, du Dessin et du Tableau, founded in 1919), who will offer visitors and collectors the opportunity to discover works and artists from all periods. It is part of the revival that the CSEDT has been establishing for several years with specialized galleries.

Just like the Paris Print Fair event created in the spring of 2022, the route of the Parisian Week of Prints and Drawings Galleries offers the chance to see unpublished, original works selected by passionate professionals.
During this tour, carte blanche is given to each gallery, thus offering visitors and collectors the possibility to discover varied mediums (drawing, engraving, photography, painting, ...) with an emphasis on drawing or engraving for some galleries.

Galleries specializing in old or modern prints are also opening up, for some, to contemporary artists, which shows the vitality of this technique, which is still present in current creation.
Finally, new galleries have joined the route, so do not hesitate to stroll through Paris and push open the doors...

Our take on this event

Organized by the CSEDT, this event highlights the vitality of the paper-based art market across the capital. Between October 23 and November 1, 2026, specialized galleries offer an immersive journey through original works, showcasing everything from antique prints to modern drawing techniques. The timing coincides with a period when Paris attracts an international crowd of art professionals and collectors.

Each participating gallery, such as Galerie Nathalie Béreau, Galerie Sarah Sauvin, or Galerie Xavier Seydoux, has been granted carte blanche to curate their own space. This ensures a diverse experience where visitors can explore various mediums, including painting and photography, with a special focus on the craftsmanship of printmaking and drawing. The inclusion of contemporary artists alongside historic collections demonstrates the ongoing relevance of these techniques in today’s creative landscape.

Participation is free and open to the public. As each gallery sets its own specific opening hours, visitors are encouraged to consult the list of participating venues to plan their route through the city. This initiative is a perfect occasion to engage with expert dealers, discover rare pieces, and appreciate the depth of artistic expertise maintained by the galleries involved.
