STRATES — Exhibition by Clothilde Fricot Mugnerot
Lose yourself in the shifting layers of Clothilde Fricot Mugnerot's latest exhibition, where abstract brushstrokes mirror the slow evolution of geological time. Her work invites you to peel back textures and uncover hidden narratives within the paint. It is a stunning visual meditation that transforms the gallery space into a vibrant landscape of memory and matter.

About
STRATES is a solo exhibition by visual artist Clothilde Fricot Mugnerot, presented at Rêva in Paris from October 13 to November 3, 2026.
Through a series of abstract and organic paintings, the artist explores the transformations of matter and landscape. Inspired by reliefs, rocks, erosion, sedimentation, and geological movements, the works evoke a world in constant mutation, without seeking to represent it literally.
The painting is built through successive layers: transparencies, traces, accidents, and overlaps reveal different depths. Some forms appear buried and then revealed, others dissolve or move. The stratum thus becomes both matter and memory, preserving the trace of what existed before while transforming it.
Between abstraction and the evocation of the natural world, STRATES invites you to observe matter closely, to get lost in its textures, and then to take a step back to let your own landscape emerge.
Opening on October 13 from 7 PM, open to all.
The exhibition will close on November 2 with États sensibles #2, a live painting and improvised music performance bringing together Clothilde Fricot Mugnerot and pianist Léo Bailac. An event dedicated to the performance is also available on Que Faire à Paris.
