On the occasion of the opening of the exhibition, this meeting will revisit the history of the Jewish populations of the northeastern Parisian suburbs, from their migratory journeys to their integration into the social, cultural, economic, and political life of these territories. Through individual and collective trajectories, it will explore the solidarities, commitments, and forms of resistance that have marked this history. The figure of Chuna Bajtsztok, a young Jewish immigrant and resistance fighter executed at Mont-Valérien in 1943, will notably shed light on these destinies at the heart of the exhibition.
