About

Experience the gentle and imaginative world of a child's best friend at Les fabuleuses histoires du doudou, hosted by storyteller Zoé Varier at Les Trois Baudets. This sound-based performance explores the emotions and milestones of childhood, from starting school to magical journeys on a blue whale. Designed specifically for little ones from 2 years old, this unique show takes place on Sunday, December 6, 2026. It is an ideal family outing in the 18th arrondissement, available for 7 euros per person, promising a touching and poetic atmosphere for both children and their parents.

Producer and storyteller Zoé Varier, accompanied by her soft, cute, and crazy comfort object, takes you on a journey to discover your children's emotions through the adventures of this precious item, the best friend of toddlers...

The comfort object speaks and acts like the child to help them grow, while also helping parents understand what the child is going through. It is a tender, curious, and mischievous companion. The adventures of the France-Inter comfort object are inspired by everyday events (starting school, going to the doctor), but also appeal to children's imagination (dancing at the comfort object ball, or traveling on the back of a blue whale)...

These short stories are brought to life with sound by foley artist Elodie Fiat and, in turn, by musicians from the Orchestre National de France, flutist Joséphine Poncelin and percussionist Emmanuel Curt. Simple and intelligent, educational or entertaining, the adventures of the comfort object make plenty of room for poetry and imagination.

Our take on this event

On Sunday, December 6, 2026, the venue Les Trois Baudets presents a special stage adaptation of the France Inter radio stories: Les fabuleuses histoires du doudou. Storyteller Zoé Varier introduces the audience to a charming and curious character who navigates daily challenges and whimsical adventures. Through these tales, the show aims to help young children understand their emotions while providing parents with insights into their little ones' growth.

The storytelling is enhanced by the sound design of Elodie Fiat and live music from flutist Joséphine Poncelin or percussionist Emmanuel Curt, both from the Orchestre National de France. Together, they create an immersive experience that blends intelligence, entertainment, and a touch of magic, perfect for developing minds.
