About

Workshop - The Creepypasta Forum - Tuesday, October 6, 2026
A digital extension of old urban legends, Creepypasta are scary stories that have been circulating since the dawn of the Internet via emails and forums and continue to send shivers down our spines today. They rework classic ghost or haunted house themes by integrating elements specific to cyberculture, from fake video games to YouTube videos. Participants will therefore be brought together on a forum (IRL) to exchange their most terrifying creepypasta.

Workshop - Photo-novels on Instagram - Friday, October 16, 2026
Once considered sappy and outdated, the photo-novel is experiencing a resurgence in popularity today on Instagram. This is evidenced by the multitude of posts parodying panels from the cult magazine Nous Deux, a French specialist in romantic photo-novels. In these online mini-narratives, the speech bubbles and captions are rewritten for humorous or activist purposes. Participants will in turn be able to try their hand at repurposing archives on social networks by reinterpreting the romantic stories of photo-novels in their own way.

Workshop - Imagining paranormal phenomena with the SCP Foundation - Tuesday, November 3, 2026
The SCP (Secure, Contain, Protect) Foundation is a secret organization that has worked since 2007 to catalog and contain all objects, entities, and paranormal phenomena that secretly threaten the world. An international collaborative literary work, the writings are shared on a multilingual wiki platform bringing together reports on these phenomena and tales developing its universe. This workshop will be an opportunity for participants to contribute to making the world safer by joining the Foundation to submit their reports.

Workshop - Chatfics on Tumblr - Friday, November 20, 2026
The 18th century had Dangerous Liaisons, the 21st century has "chatfics." Also called "text fictions" or "chat-fictions," these stories composed solely of message exchanges ignited the social network Tumblr in the 2010s. Fake WhatsApp groups, dating apps, verbal jousting on X, or an exchange between friends that turns into drama... so many possibilities that the participants of this workshop will be able to explore by designing their own chatfic – preferably addictive.
