The Papillon Writing Workshop invites adults aged 18 and over to explore the joy of creative writing at L'Atelier sous les Toits in Paris' 12th arrondissement. Once a month, these sessions focus on spontaneous writing games in a relaxed and supportive environment. Designed for small groups of no more than 8 participants, the workshops run from 15:00 to 18:00, providing ample time to draft, read, and discuss your work. Whether you are looking to start a new hobby or sharpen your skills, these sessions require no prior experience. Join the group at your own pace for any of the scheduled dates through June 2027.

One Sunday afternoon per month, everyone is invited to come out of their cocoon and wander from writing game to writing game. We seek spontaneity and freedom of style.
The group organizes playful activities that facilitate production. After a short writing period, we read the texts, listen, share, and build upon each other's ideas.
Come at your own pace, according to your wishes and availability. Registration by session or by freely creating your own package.

Our take on this event
Located at 84, rue de Charenton, L'Atelier sous les Toits hosts the Papillon writing series. Sessions are scheduled on specific Sundays from 15:00 to 18:00: November 15, 2026, December 13, 2026, January 24, 2027, February 28, 2027, March 21, 2027, April 25, 2027, May 23, 2027, and June 20, 2027.
Each workshop utilizes creative prompts and games to help participants overcome writer's block and embrace their personal style. Following a short writing period, the group gathers to share their work, listen, and offer constructive feedback. By limiting attendance to 8 people, the organizer ensures a focused and intimate setting suitable for all levels, as no previous writing experience is required.
The cost is 32 euros per session. Participants who wish to attend more frequently can benefit from a reduced rate of 29 euros per workshop when booking a package of 9 or more sessions. This flexible approach allows you to sign up for individual dates or create your own schedule throughout the upcoming season.
