About
10 years ago, pianist Alix Logiaco and saxophonist Florian Marques decided to create the "Cookin’ With" project, driven by the shared idea of re-appropriating the language of mainstream jazz from the 1950s and 1960s. With numerous concerts in Parisian clubs and prestigious collaborations like the one with Dmitry Baevsky during their tribute to Jackie McLean, they aim to make "Cookin’ With" a flexible group dedicated to exploring the musical universe of the artists who defined the golden age of jazz.
Tonight, they offer you a program featuring the compositions of saxophonist Dexter Gordon!
Florian Marques: sax
Alix Logiaco: piano
Cyril Billot: double bass
Germain Cornet: drums
