About

Once again this year, the library is participating in the Off Festival of the Montmartre Grape Harvest Festival. In this context, the MMC will come to host a workshop around their educational toolkit.

Awakening our sonic fascination: this is the goal of the KIT Musiques en jeu(x), a kit to practice and listen to. At the invitation of a mediator, participants handle sound objects as unlikely as marbles or sandpaper, improvise vocal games, or have fun recording and combining sounds using the three electronic modules: a playful and sensitive way to discover sound and musical creation. There are no winners or losers in these games, which aim to awaken curiosity, encourage the production of strange and unexpected sounds, and foster exchanges between participants. The games can be chosen based on age, from 3 to 99 years old, the number of players, or the theme. A playlist associated with each one allows you to continue the experience and promotes active listening. So come play, listen, and discuss with sounds!

Our take on this event

Forget standard instruments and come craft soundscapes using nothing but everyday objects in a relaxed setting above the city. This hands-on session turns every visitor into an audio explorer, whether you are a seasoned pro or just looking to play. It is the perfect opportunity to sharpen your ears and embrace the unexpected.
