On Friday, November 6, the third edition of the Sonore Festival opens with a bang, to the rhythm of La Fanfort, the festive group from the Théâtre Silvia Monfort, led by Clea Torales, Antonin Leymarie, and Fabrice Theuillon.
Then, a change of atmosphere with Myotis V. Surrounded by the high-flying musicians of the Percussions de Strasbourg, the troublemaker Anthony Laguerre, composer and musician, transforms the drums into an instrument with unsuspected resources. Imperceptible amplified sounds, resonances, vibrations, and silences compose music that is as physical as it is delicate. An immersive and spectacular listening experience that invites us to curiosity and enchantment.

As an introduction to this second day of the festival, dream for a while with a musical nap Au fil de l’eau composed by Thomas Nguyen: close your eyes, get comfortable, and let yourself be carried away. Under headphones, a harp, a voice, and a soundscape compose a moment of calm and pleasure. Between poetry and daydreaming...
Then, it's time to party! The Orchestre Tout Puissant Marcel Duchamp celebrates two decades of an extraordinary musical adventure this year, with a generous and jubilant concert, driven by the communicative joy of playing together. Fueled by folk, jazz, African rhythms, rock, brass, and marimbas, its music makes influences dialogue in an irresistible surge of sharing.
Beforehand, the evening opens with the solo Myotis by Anthony Laguerre as a support act, a fascinating exploration of the resonances of the drums.
The evening continues after the concert with an open jam session led by a trio of musicians, Louise Frago, Alexandre Bamba, and Alex Charoud: join the trio for a participative and improvised concert/jam, without any aesthetic or skill constraints.

Then La Vie bien accordée de Rémy Pinson, for which Thomas Nguyen, the new associate composer of the Théâtre Silvia Monfort, wrote the score, tells the story of a man whose daily life changes with the arrival of music. Supported by a narrator, a whistler, and a string quintet, this musical tale celebrates the power of sounds and closes the festival in style.
To accompany your discovery of La Vie bien accordée..., let yourself be surprised by a whistling workshop on Sunday, November 8 at 2 PM! What if you turned your lips into an instrument? Guided by Bertrand Causse, protagonist of Rémy Pinson and a whistler since childhood, discover the art of whistling. Explore a surprising and musical practice, accessible to everyone.
