About
A land of inspiration and diversity, the 18th arrondissement has always cultivated an exceptional cultural richness. From the artists of yesterday to the talents of today, from popular music to the most contemporary creations, the sounds and voices that resonate in the district testify to its creative energy and diversity.
In 2026, the Montmartre Grape Harvest Festival honors the music that crosses generations, cultures, and borders. Whether sung, played, danced, or simply shared, it brings together residents, visitors, the curious, and enthusiasts around a shared emotion.
For five days, throughout the arrondissement, a rich and eclectic program will combine cultural, artistic, culinary, and festive offerings. Concerts, shows, meet-ups, activities, and discoveries will invite everyone to follow the tempo of a neighborhood in motion, where creation is shared and conviviality is celebrated.

Celebrating safely
For this 2026 edition, measures are being strengthened to prevent sexist and sexual violence and to better support victims and witnesses. Montmartre merchants will be trained to welcome and help victims of harassment through the "Ask Angela" system. "Safe places," run by specialized associations, will be set up around the Taste Trail to listen, guide, and support. Finally, training open to everyone will teach people how to react to harassment in public spaces.
Highlights
Vineyard tours
Discover the Montmartre vineyards during a tour with Jean-Manuel Gabert, a historian and lecturer specializing in the history of the vine. Jean-Manuel Gabert is a Montmartre figure recognized for his human qualities and great culture. He is committed to defending the identity of the Butte "The last village in Paris," of which he is one of the most prominent specialists.
A writer and art critic, he is the author of three richly illustrated works: "Roland Dorgelès, prince de bohème", "Fantômas: Le magicien du crime", "Dalida, le profil perdu", published by “Belle Gabrielle”. As a journalist, he is editor-in-chief of Paris Montmartre magazine. He is also an official cultural guide for the Paris Tourism Office for Montmartre tours and a member of the Board of Directors of the Montmartre Tourist Office.
The night race: the 18th in wild strides
When night falls, the 18th switches to allegro mode! Join us for the Vendanges night race and cover 5 km through the streets of the arrondissement, at your own pace. Between bursts of speed, quiet moments, and building intensity, everyone composes their own score, whether you are a seasoned runner or an occasional athlete. In this edition themed around music, strides replace notes and the asphalt becomes a track where the whole 18th beats the measure. A friendly, free race open to all to make the neighborhood vibrate in a single impulse.
Dress code: neon! Come light up the night during this festive and joyful night race!
The non-marriage proposal ceremony
At the Grape Harvest Festival, love is celebrated with humor and lightness during the traditional non-married ceremony. Under the benevolent authority of Éric Lejoindre, Mayor of the 18th arrondissement, the "non-married" of the day take turns participating in a ceremony that is as wacky as it is romantic. In a delightfully kitschy setting, couples come to exchange fleeting promises and not put a ring on each other's finger. And because such an event deserves beauty to match, the “Mystérieuses Coiffures” imagine amazing hair creations for the eternal fiancés, transforming this imaginary wedding into a real show and each participant into an ephemeral work of art.
The Taste Trail
When the 18th sets the rhythm, flavors take the stage. At the foot of the Sacré-Cœur, the famous Taste Trail returns to make Montmartre vibrate to the tempo of terroirs, skills, and gourmet encounters. This year, producers, winemakers, and artisans from all over France are composing a great score of flavors to enjoy on site, between regional specialties, local discoveries, and inspirations from elsewhere.
In a friendly and festive atmosphere, each stand adds its own note, accent, and color. Food lovers, young and old, meet to stroll, chat, taste, and share this unmissable appointment of the Montmartre Grape Harvest Festival. This edition also highlights young talents and local initiatives that make the heart of the 18th beat between living traditions and new inspirations. Eco-friendly partners will also be present to support waste reduction and promote a more circular, local, and committed dynamic.
The Grand Parade
Each year, the Grand Parade sets the 18th in motion, carried by its traditions, its talents, and the energy of those who bring it to life.
From the Clos Montmartre vineyard to the 18th Arrondissement Town Hall, more than fifty brotherhoods from France and elsewhere – wine-related, gastronomic, and traditional – will parade on Saturday, October 10th alongside residents and cultural and sports associations of the district. Throughout the streets, costumes, music, and skills compose a colorful collective score.
Supervised by the youth of MACADAM 18, this historic procession brings together nearly 1,400 participants in a shared impulse of exchange, transmission, and conviviality. A living celebration where everyone brings their note to make the spirit of the Vendanges resonate.
An unmissable highlight of the Grape Harvest Festival, popular and unifying, to be admired all along the streets of Montmartre, where the 18th sets the rhythm.
