The Germaine Tillion library invites you to join its Book Club in English, a monthly gathering dedicated to sharing literary favorites in the language of Shakespeare. Whether you are a fluent speaker or looking to practice, these sessions provide a welcoming space for all book lovers to discuss their latest reads. Open to anyone 18 and older, these sessions are held in the 16th arrondissement. The event is completely free of charge and the library facility is fully accessible to wheelchair users, ensuring a comfortable experience for every participant involved in the conversation.

To speak about your latest reads or your favorite books in the language of Shakespeare, meet us at the Germaine Tillion library, one Tuesday and one Saturday per month. Due to high attendance, we kindly ask you to attend only once per month.
Book-Club Meetings
- Tuesdays from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.: June 16, September 15, October 13, December 15 in the company of our two volunteers Lisa and Geneviève - no booking required
- Tuesday, November 17, a special Agatha Christie session will take place - exceptionally by reservation, starting from October 05
- Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.: June 6, September 26, October 31, December 5 in the company of our volunteer Ami
- Saturday, November 21, a special Agatha Christie session will take place - exceptionally by reservation, starting from October 05 - no booking required

Our take on this event
The Book Club in English runs from October 13 to December 15, 2026, at the Germaine Tillion library. Meetings are scheduled on Tuesdays from 14:00 to 16:00 (October 13, November 17, and December 15) and Saturdays from 11:00 to 13:00 (October 31, November 21, and December 5), led by volunteers Lisa, Geneviève, and Ami.
Participation is free for adults aged 18 and over. To accommodate as many readers as possible, guests are requested to limit attendance to one session per month. Please be aware that the sessions on November 17 and November 21 are special Agatha Christie events, which require prior booking. The venue is fully wheelchair accessible.
