Our take on this event
Located at 10bis Rue Henri Ribière, the Maison des Réfugiés hosts the Café Signes & Jeux on the third Thursday of every month. Running from 14:00 to 17:00, these sessions offer a dedicated space for deaf and hearing participants, including seniors and exiles, to interact through games and conversation. Organized in collaboration with Agir pour les Seniors Sourds Dépendants de France, the initiative welcomes individuals as well as members from various deaf associations and social organizations. While open to everyone, a B1 or A2 level in French Sign Language is recommended to fully engage in the group dynamics.
The series runs throughout the 2026-2027 season, with the final gathering scheduled for June 24, 2027. There is no entrance fee, and refreshments are provided free of charge to all attendees. Situated near the James Baldwin Library, the venue is easy to access for anyone wishing to participate. Come as you are to enjoy these afternoons of communication and community building, occurring regularly until the end of the season.
