Jazz sur Seine returns to Paris and the Île-de-France region from October 9 to October 24, 2026. This extensive festival features over 200 concerts across 30 different venues, showcasing a blend of legendary performers and emerging talents in styles ranging from blues and soul to fusion. Celebrating its 15th anniversary, the event introduces a new Jazz & Cinema series and special programs for younger audiences. The festival is open to visitors aged 12 and over. A major highlight includes the Marathon Jazz, taking place on October 13 in the rue des Lombards, which offers free entry to a series of showcases.

On the program: more than 450 artists and 200 concerts in no less than 30 venues in Paris and the Île-de-France region.

Reflecting the dynamism of the jazz scene in the Paris region and the programming work carried out all year round by jazz venues, the festival brings together various aesthetics (jazz, blues, soul, fusion, etc.) and generations of artists, from established figures to emerging talents.

NEW: For its 15th anniversary, the festival is enriching its programming with a brand new Jazz & Cinema section, inviting the public to discover jazz from a different perspective through a selection of films that pay tribute to it, as well as a program for young audiences specifically designed to introduce the youngest to the world of jazz in a fun and accessible way.

The festival will also feature its traditional Jazz Marathon (Showcase evening) with free access on Tuesday, October 13th, in 5 clubs on Rue des Lombards, in the heart of the Les Halles district. On the program: 15 concerts of 40 minutes, highlighting the best of the current jazz scene.

Our take on this event

Spanning more than two weeks, Jazz sur Seine highlights the vibrancy of the regional jazz scene. Attendees can explore a wide variety of aesthetics, including jazz, blues, soul, and fusion music, reflecting the year-round programming efforts of local venues.

To mark its 15-year milestone, the festival has expanded its reach with the Jazz & Cinema section, inviting audiences to view the genre through the lens of film, and a dedicated program designed to introduce jazz to younger generations in an engaging way. Participation in most concerts is ticketed.

On Tuesday, October 13, the festival hosts its traditional Marathon Jazz in the rue des Lombards, located in the Les Halles district. Across five different clubs, 15 individual 40-minute performances will be held with free entry, providing a comprehensive look at the current jazz landscape.
