Nature-inspired algorithms

[Lecture] At the heart of how our computers work, algorithms are essentially sequences of basic instructions. Some of them are inspired by nature and allow us to solve problems that would otherwise be unsolvable. Or almost! The price to pay is sometimes the accuracy of the solution, its execution speed, or your computer's memory. Scientific lecture for ages 12 and up, presented by Stéphane Fay, mediator at the Computer Science unit of the Palais de la découverte.
