About
Did you know that Balzac's cane was almost as famous as he was? It was so fascinating in salons that the writer Delphine de Girardin wrote a short story about it in 1836: "La canne de M. de Balzac".
Scriptwriter PoPésie and illustrator Lena Walrus have adapted this short novel into a comic book.
We follow Tancrède, a young man who has the misfortune of being spectacularly handsome! Rejected everywhere, Honoré de Balzac comes to his aid by lending him his cane, which has a very special power: it makes its wearer invisible.
PoPésie and Léna Walrus will be present for a book signing at the museum reception.
