On Friday, November 6, 2026, Temple du Luxembourg hosts pianist Frédéric Mage for a recital featuring works by Ludwig van Beethoven and Franz Schubert. Organized by the Scènes Insoumises association, this event marks the beginning of a cycle commemorating the upcoming bicentenaries of both composers. The program highlights a mix of masterpieces and rare discoveries, running from 20:00 to 22:45. The evening concludes with a shared buffet for attendees. Entry is free for children under 12 accompanied by an adult, as well as for students currently enrolled in music conservatories.
As the bicentenaries of the deaths of Beethoven in 2027 and Schubert in 2028 approach, the Scènes Insoumises association is launching a program dedicated to these two major composers.
To inaugurate this cycle, pianist Frédéric Mage offers a recital that brings Beethoven and Schubert together, through both major works and discoveries.

The evening will continue with a friendly buffet following the concert.

In preparation for the bicentenary years of Beethoven in 2027 and Schubert in 2028, the Scènes Insoumises association invites you to a dedicated piano recital. Pianist Frédéric Mage performs at the Temple du Luxembourg, located at 58 rue Madame in the 6th arrondissement, to explore the unique expressive worlds of these two musical masters.
The concert focuses on the connection between Beethoven and Schubert, blending well-known compositions with lesser-known pieces that showcase their distinct approaches to poetic depth and musical freedom. The performance is scheduled for November 6, 2026, starting at 20:00 and concluding at 22:45. Following the recital, a buffet will be provided, offering a relaxed environment for guests to enjoy the evening together.
Tickets are priced at 20€ for general admission and 12€ for the reduced rate. Please note that admission is free for conservatory students and children under the age of 12 when accompanied by an adult.
