On Thursday, December 10, 2026, the David Sauzay Quartet takes the stage at the Jass Club Paris for the recording of their first live album, Live at the Jass Club. From 19:30 to 20:30, the band will showcase a broad jazz repertoire, incorporating swing, blues, and bossa nova alongside their own original compositions. Featuring David Sauzay, Hiroshi Murayama, Gabriel Sauzay, and Paul Morvan, this performance is open to guests 18 and older. With various ticket prices available, including limited and reduced rates, it is an ideal opportunity to experience the spontaneous energy of this quartet in the 13th arrondissement.
For several years, David Sauzay and his quartet have been developing music deeply rooted in the jazz tradition, from its origins to the present day.
The repertoire explores all the richness of jazz: swing, blues, bossa nova, fast tempos, and ballads, through standards and original compositions written by the different members of the group. Spirit of Alice, Taketori, Max’s View, “G”, In the Still of the Night, Mas Que Nada, My Old Flame…
After two studio albums, the David Sauzay quartet now wishes to capture the energy and spontaneity of its concerts through a first live album, ‘Live at the Jass Club’.
Recorded in front of an audience, this album will give an essential place to the quartet's new compositions as well as original arrangements of great jazz classics.
