About

On November 6, 2026, the 38Riv Jazz Club hosts saxophonist and vocalist Lisa Cat-Berro for two exclusive performances of her project Good Days Bad Days. Nominated for the Victoires du Jazz in 2013, the artist presents a musical exploration blending folk and instrumental pop. This concert invites the audience to discover an intimate repertoire, reflecting personal growth and resilience within a cozy venue in the 4th arrondissement. To attend one of the two sessions scheduled at 19:30 or 21:30, please note that online tickets are available at reduced prices ranging from 25€ to 30€.

The second album by Lisa Cat-Berro (nominated for the 2013 Victoires du Jazz), "Good Days Bad Days," is the testimony of a journey and a mutation that acts as much as an inner travel diary as a personal journal. The saxophonist reaffirms her songwriting qualities and presents for the first time the intimacy of her singing voice, as an amused and tender response to those who have told her for so long that she plays like she sings.

Ten tracks, five songs and five instrumentals, tell the story of a transformation, even a rebirth. These soul songs, born from the obligation to accept the succession of days as they are, good or bad, speak to us of reincarnation, changing times, fruitful waiting, and the light that emerges from destitution.

To bring these "folksongs" to life, she chose to continue the path started with the musicians of her quartet, carried by the joy of hearing the pieces take shape and be built with them. The band's sound, tinged with folk and instrumental pop, which has matured over time, gives true depth to this music that seeks to bear witness to the energy of life and resilience present in each of us.

Line-up: Lisa Cat-Berro: saxophone, vocals; Daniel Mizrahi: guitar / vocals; Nicolas Larmignat: drums; Stéphane Decolly: electric bass

The 38Riv Jazz Club is an intimate venue in the heart of the Marais (38 rue de Rivoli, Paris 4th), dedicated to jazz and improvised music.
