Our take on this event
The Cinémathèque française invites you to become part of a cinematic experiment during the Toussaint holidays. Located on the mezzanine, this participatory event focuses on the techniques of Georges Méliès, the legendary figure of early special effects. Participants are tasked with crafting fantastical elements—such as insects or celestial bodies—that will be digitally inserted into Méliès’ work. By taking a simple photo of your drawing, you witness your creation appearing on screen in real-time, thanks to the partnership with Wakatoon.
The workshop runs on Saturdays and Sundays from October 18 to November 1, 2026, between 14:00 and 17:00. This experience is designed for children from age 7 upwards. Entrance is entirely free of charge. The location is fully wheelchair accessible, ensuring that all visitors can navigate the space and engage with the activities comfortably.
