About
Join a unique collaborative project at the Atelier de Paris / CDCN on November 9, 2026, for the Mobile Workshop. Led by visual artist Edmée Petit, you are invited to craft charms that will become part of the set design for the performance Variations on Tenderness by Pol Pi, Antoine Mermet, and Nitsan Margaliot. This creative workshop, designed for adults 18 and over, offers an exploration of tenderness through collective handiwork. The event is completely free and wheelchair accessible, providing a rare opportunity to contribute directly to a professional stage production during the Festival des Fiertés.
Mobile workshop centered around the show Variations on Tenderness by Pol Pi, Nitsan Margaliot and Antoine Mermet
This workshop is a proposal by visual artist Edmée Petit and a scenographic contribution to the show "Variations on Tenderness" co-created by Pol Pi, Antoine Mermet & Nitsan Margaliot. Craft "charms" that will become part of the show's set design.
Paying attention, letting yourself be softened and softening in return. This workshop is designed as an experience of opening up to tenderness, a collective moment to let yourself be carried along paths we rarely take: listening to the material, choosing the gesture, allowing yourself fragility, offering your concentration, and co-constructing differently. "Softening the material" means getting off the highway, refusing the toll booths, and taking a detour... alone/together

Our take on this event
As part of the Festival des Fiertés, the Atelier de Paris / CDCN hosts a special creative session on Monday, November 9, 2026, from 18:00 to 21:00. Under the guidance of visual artist Edmée Petit, participants will create charms intended for the scenography of the show Variations on Tenderness, co-authored by Pol Pi, Antoine Mermet, and Nitsan Margaliot.
This workshop focuses on the relationship between materiality, gesture, and collective creation. It is an invitation to explore the concept of tenderness while actively helping to build the visual landscape of a contemporary performance. The session is open to adults aged 18 and up, and the venue is fully wheelchair accessible. To participate, please email your full name to the public relations department to confirm your availability for the full duration of the workshop.
Following the workshop, the performance itself will take place on Friday, November 13, 2026, at 20:00, and on Saturday, November 14, at 17:00—including a post-show discussion with the artists—and at 20:00.
