A quarter to learn to sew and master the machine! Accessible to absolute beginners, this weekly course will teach you the basics of machine sewing through 7 projects, including accessories and clothing.

Want to get serious about sewing? This 10-week cycle of weekly classes will allow you to learn how to use a sewing machine and acquire the basic techniques to start your own projects. Each project is designed to help you progress! For the two garments at the end of the cycle, we offer the option to sew them for either a female or male wardrobe.
10 x 2.5-hour classes where you will complete 7 projects (5 accessories and 2 garments)
– 6 makeup remover wipes
– a lined tote bag
– a zippered cushion cover
– a lined pouch
– a gym bag
– pajama shorts (women's or men's) or an elastic-waist skirt
– the Bilbao top (woven fabric techniques) or the T-shirt (women's or men's model, knit fabric techniques).
7 people maximum.
Price: €495 (payment in 3 installments possible). Holiday vouchers accepted.

It is the perfect opportunity to develop expert techniques while enjoying a small-group atmosphere.
Learn the art of sewing with this 10-session beginner cycle at Ateliers By The Way in the 10th arrondissement. Open to anyone aged 16 and over, this course provides a comprehensive introduction to machine sewing and fundamental techniques. Running from November 30, 2026, to February 26, 2027, the program includes all necessary materials for seven distinct projects, ranging from accessories to garments. Sessions take place in small groups of seven, scheduled on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 19:00 to 21:30, or Fridays from 14:00 to 16:30, ensuring personalized guidance for every student.
This 10-week intensive course is designed to take you from a complete beginner to a confident sewist. Over 2.5-hour sessions, you will construct seven items: reusable makeup wipes, a lined tote bag, a zippered cushion cover, a lined pouch, a gym bag, a pair of pajama shorts or an elasticated skirt, and a top or T-shirt. All fabrics and supplies are provided from the studio's stock, allowing you to focus entirely on learning the construction of men's and women's wear.
The course runs from November 30, 2026, to February 26, 2027. Classes are held on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays between 19:00 and 21:30, or on Fridays from 14:00 to 16:30. To maintain high-quality instruction, group sizes are strictly limited to seven people. If you happen to miss a session, you are permitted to make up one class during the cycle.
