Are you between 13 and 16 years old and do you live in the 10th arrondissement of Paris? This project is for you!
Your neighborhood is much more than just streets and buildings. It is also the places where you hang out, those that saw you grow up, where you feel at home or that remind you of memories, …
In this project combining writing and video production, we invite you to show the 10th arrondissement in your own way.
No need to be a camera professional or master complicated software: your smartphone is enough! You will learn how to choose a frame, play with images and sounds, and above all, tell a memory, a story or an emotion through what you film.
Your presence at all 4 workshops is mandatory in order to be able to make your own video. All these images will then be brought together and edited to create a collective film about the 10th arrondissement, and screened in an independent cinema in the neighborhood.

Our take on this event
Your local streets have more stories than any blockbuster if you know how to frame them. Grab your smartphone and join other local teens to craft a collective visual portrait of your neighborhood, all culminating in a special premiere at a nearby indie cinema. You don't need fancy gear, just your own unique perspective on the places you call home.
Filme ton 10e is an invitation for local youths aged 13 to 16 to document their neighborhood through video. Taking place at the Centre Paris Anim' Grange aux Belles, this free workshop series teaches participants how to film and tell stories using only their smartphones. Attendees will explore their personal connection to the 10th arrondissement, resulting in a collective film to be screened at a local independent cinema. Please be aware that participants are required to attend all four workshop sessions to complete their individual video projects. With only 10 spots available, this is a unique chance to share your perspective.
Between October 22 and October 28, 2026, the Centre Paris Anim' Grange aux Belles, located at 6 Rue Boy-Zelensky, hosts a creative video project for teenagers aged 13 to 16 who live in the 10th arrondissement. Through this program, participants learn the fundamentals of video production, from framing shots to sound recording, using nothing more than their own smartphones to capture the spirit of their surroundings.
Workshops are held on October 22, 26, and 28, from 14:00 to 17:00. Enrollment is restricted to 10 participants, and booking in advance is required. To ensure the successful completion of the collective film project, attendance at all four sessions is mandatory. This commitment ensures that every participant can finish their individual contribution for the final screening.
The finished collective work, composed of these individual perspectives, will be showcased at an independent cinema within the district. This project is an excellent opportunity for local youth to translate their memories and emotions into a visual story that represents their home.
