Film your 10th!

Writing and smartphone video production workshop.

Centre Paris Anim' Château Landon (Paris 10th)

About

What if you filmed your 10th [district]?

Are you between 13 and 16 years old and do you live in the 10th arrondissement of Paris? This project is for you!

Your neighborhood is much more than just streets and buildings. It's also the places where you hang out, the ones that saw you grow up, where you feel at home, or that remind you of memories...

In this project mixing writing and video production, we invite you to show the 10th arrondissement in your own way.

No need to be a camera professional or master complicated software: your smartphone is enough! You will learn how to choose a frame, play with images and sounds, and above all, tell a memory, a story, or an emotion through what you film.

Your presence at all 4 workshops is mandatory in order to be able to make your own video. All these images will then be brought together and edited to create a collective film about the 10th arrondissement, and screened in an independent cinema in the neighborhood.

Join the project and share your perspective!

Booking: info-cl@crl10.net - 01 46 07 84 12 or on-site.

Our take on this event

Turn your smartphone into a storytelling tool and capture the essence of the 10th district through your own eyes. This creative workshop helps local teenagers craft their own mini-films, exploring familiar streets and personal haunts. Join the group to build a unique mosaic of the neighborhood that will culminate in a special local cinema screening.

Filme ton 10e is a creative workshop designed for residents of the 10th arrondissement aged 13 to 16, offering a unique opportunity to document their local neighborhood through video. Taking place at the Centre Paris Anim' Château Landon between October 23 and October 27, 2026, participants learn to film and edit personal stories using only their smartphones. This free program focuses on storytelling and visual composition, culminating in a collective film to be screened in a local independent cinema. Please note that attendance at all four scheduled workshops is mandatory to complete your individual video project and ensure the success of the collective work.

Designed for local youth, this project invites participants to explore the 10th arrondissement through a camera lens. Whether it is your favorite hangout spots or places filled with memories, you will learn to craft your own short film using your smartphone. You will explore framing, sound, and visual storytelling under the guidance of professionals, proving that you do not need expensive equipment to document your surroundings.

The workshop sessions are scheduled for October 23 and October 27, 2026, from 14:00 to 17:00. Because this is a collaborative effort resulting in a final film to be shown in a neighborhood cinema, participation is strictly limited to 10 individuals, and attending all four sessions is required. This ensures every student has the support needed to complete their segment of the collective project.

Participation is entirely free of charge for residents aged 13 to 16. You can secure your spot by visiting the Centre Paris Anim' Château Landon or reaching out through their established contact channels. No prior filmmaking experience is necessary; bring your perspective and your smartphone to start filming your corner of Paris.
