Presentation of the comic strip:
1984. After the death of his mother, 18-year-old Antoine spends the summer in the countryside with his Aunt Lina. Amidst the heat and solitude, he seeks to escape into his dreams. Then, travelers set up camp on the outskirts of the village... Fascinated by those known as Gypsies, Antoine is drawn to a young Manouche with jet-black hair and a dark gaze...
In this luminous and sensitive comic, Johann G. Louis addresses, among other themes, the mechanisms of antiziganism as well as the question of homosexuality.
For this performance, the author and illustrator Johann G. Louis will offer live drawings to the rhythm of the gypsy swing played by the duo of Leïla Duclos and Gilles Coquard.
