Black Pontiac + Sunfish at Le Truskel
Forget the usual polished venues and head somewhere where the distortion hits home. Two bands collide to bring a gritty, high-octane mix of indie-pop hooks and experimental grunge that will keep you glued to the front of the stage all night long.

About
Black Pontiac
Black Pontiac is a band born from tension. Emerging from a DIY underground community they helped redefine in the wake of the pandemic, this Vancouver, British Columbia quartet has since walked a delicate line, juggling raw energy, glamour, the grit of garage rock, and the infectious hooks of indie-pop.
Drawing inspiration from acts like Cage the Elephant and The Clash, their sound feeds on these tensions and contrasts. With an energetic live show, a dedicated cult following, over 10 million Spotify streams, as well as several tours, festival appearances, and opening slots for bands like lovelytheband and Peach Pit under their belt, the group is set to turn up the heat with a new project: *A Danger to Himself and Others*, their second full-length album, available everywhere now. This album dives headfirst into the chaos and contradictions that now define Black Pontiac; a collection of reckless, anxious, arrogant, and tender songs that address the performance of danger as a coping mechanism, the fear of falling apart, and the desperate attempt to forge a sense of joy and belonging amidst the disorder.
Sunfish
Sunfish is an alternative rock band from Salt Lake City, Utah. Their musical universe, which ranges from metal to pop, is characterized by a unique sound dubbed 'glitch grunge' by Corey Fox, owner of the Utah venue Velour Music Gallery.
Carter Sears (23), on guitar and vocals, has led Sunfish since its inception. He is joined on stage by Courtney Lane on keyboards and backing vocals.
