About
MOBO Award nominee Femi Temowo is one of the most unique guitarists in British jazz. Influenced by Fela Kuti, King Sunny Ade, Ebenezer Obey, and later Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, and Wes Montgomery, he has developed a fluid and expressive style where jazz, soul, funk, and West African rhythms meet. A collaborator with George Benson, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Courtney Pine, The Roots, Omar, Amy Winehouse, and Soweto Kinch, he has made a name for himself with a deeply melodic and groovy approach, always focused on interaction and live performance.
Alongside him, Gildaa, a French-Brazilian singer, musician, and performer, unveils a free and theatrical universe that blends chanson, baile funk, jazz, and RnB. Revealed by Les Inouïs du Printemps de Bourges and winner of the 2025 Jury Prize, she released her self-titled debut album in March 2026, following a series of acclaimed singles and appearances at Taratata, Art Rock, and La Cigale. Two unique worlds meet here, united by a shared taste for groove, improvisation, and freedom.
