THNS Forum 2026: Biophilic Active Mobility Paris-Shanghai
Paris and Shanghai join forces this week to rethink the future of city living. Discover how active mobility and green infrastructures are being redesigned to turn concrete jungles into breathable, living spaces. It is a brilliant opportunity to peek behind the scenes of urban planning and get inspired by innovative international visions.

About
The THNS (Transport and High Level Service) forum is a long-standing Franco-Chinese event that brings together researchers, educators, and practitioners working on sustainable urban mobility and the links between transport, urban planning, technology, and ecological transition.
The 2026 edition, titled « Biophilic Active Mobility in sync with Green-Blue Infrastructure Networks », focuses on how mobility, ecological transition, and metropolitan transformations shape each other, comparing Paris and Shanghai. It presents the initial results of BIOMOB, a research project led by ENSA Paris-Belleville and Tongji University (Shanghai). BIOMOB studies pedestrian and cycling networks designed in conjunction with green and blue infrastructure (rivers, canals, parks, green corridors) and questions their capacity to support ecological transition, urban resilience, and quality of life in large metropolises.
