Marianne Gokalp was born in 1987. An associate professor, she teaches English literature in Loire-Atlantique.
In 2025, Éditions du Canoë published her first novel, Une écorchure, which was part of the selection for the Prix des Lecteurs et des Lectrices de la Ville de Paris (which awards a first novel published during the annual September literary season).
