About

Eliz Corbett has two loves: Jazz and Paris. Since her college years near New York, where she spent time with Kenny Barron's students, Eliz has simply been hooked. It was in Paris, her adopted city, that she learned to sing and improvise on famous jazz chord progressions, at the ARPEJ & CMDL schools and at Sara Lazarus' workshops. For her, as an American, jazz standards are timeless lyric songs written by the virtuosos of Broadway's golden age. She tries to share them with the audience with as much humility as passion for their poetry and melodies.

Eliz takes this opportunity to invite an internationally renowned pianist, Olivier Hutman, as well as two great musicians from the Parisian scene: Solène Cairoli on double bass and Antoine Delprat on violin. Standards, improvisations, blues, and a touch of bossa will be on the menu for this date on October 6, 2026!
