About

The neighborhood, which stretches from Place Victor-Hugo to Place du Trocadéro, holds many surprises for those who take the time to venture into it. Behind its elegant facades lie some little-known treasures of Parisian architecture.

During this walk, you will discover the last major project by Robert Mallet-Stevens, a shopping arcade with a metal frame designed by Henri Sauvage, one of the few remaining covered markets in the capital, the spectacular brutalist complex conceived by Roger Anger and Pierre Puccinelli, as well as the final work of Hector Guimard. A stroll that will allow you to traverse more than half a century of architectural and urban innovation.

This guided tour is offered by the Paris City History Committee.
