Small Belt and Big Suspenders

Step into the soul of the fourteenth district through a film uniquely crafted by those who know its streets best: the neighbors themselves. This project blurs the lines between documentary and creativity, capturing a authentic collective energy that feels both intimate and bold. Join us for a screening that highlights the magic hidden in plain sight.

About

Small Belt and Big Suspenders is a film that was invented in stages with the residents of Porte de Vanves, who acquired a real capacity for writing and acting alongside us. For 3 years, this group of enlightened amateurs wrote the script with a screenwriter, then imagined the sets and filming locations, and finally, everyone played the role they had invented.
