Tarantella Workshop
No need for a plane ticket to Naples or Bari: the tambourine is coming to Communale St-Ouen. Come stomp your feet, spin in circles (in the right direction), and awaken the dancer within you. Careful, it's going to heat up.

About
WARMTH, RHYTHM, AND TRANCE: SOUTHERN ITALY LANDS AT THE EXTRA BAL!
Got rhythm in your veins but tired of the same old techno dance moves? We have exactly what you need to spice up your autumn Sundays. Communale St-Ouen takes you on a direct journey to the heel of the Italian boot with its Tarantella Workshop.
What is the tarantella? Forget the dusty clichés. We are talking about a family of ultra-festive, rhythmic, and circular traditional dances. The principle is simple: a tambourine that sets the tempo, a large circle to support one another, and in the middle, you let go. Whether you are a Sunday dancer or a dancefloor pro, everyone has a place in the ring. It is physical, it is joyful, it is liberating.
To guide you through this collective trance, we have invited an absolute expert: Giulia Pesole. A dancer, movement educator, and co-founder of the artistic collective RomaTrad, Giulia travels between Paris and Rome to share this culture with passion. With her, there is no fuss: we explore the history of these dances from a contemporary, artistic, and above all, highly accessible perspective.
In short, talk less, dance more. Spaces are very limited (capacity of 30 to 40 people maximum to maintain the cozy and intimate atmosphere we love so much), so don't delay in grabbing your ticket!
I'm booking for Sunday, November 29th
