About
Join us on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Parc de Bercy for an urban agility and canine behavioral workshop. Held from 14:00 to 15:00 as part of the Fête de l'animal en ville, this free event invites you and your dog to improve your communication and motor skills together. Guided by professional canine behaviorist Kévin Kaupert, you will explore exercises designed to enhance your pet's concentration and agility. Whether in the romantic garden or the Yitzhak Rabin garden, this session is perfect for learning how to channel your dog's energy while strengthening your bond in a collaborative and supportive outdoor environment.
Through adapted exercises and games, this workshop invites you to share a moment with your dog while working on their motor skills, concentration, and communication within your pair.
On the agenda:
· Warm-up and proprioception: gentle motor exercises on various surfaces to work on balance, confidence, and the dog's concentration in the presence of external stimuli.
· Agility course: tunnels, bars, and cones to navigate according to each dog's morphology and level. You will also discover some guiding techniques to channel their impulsivity and accompany them safely.
· Scent work games to finish the workshop by engaging your companion's sense of smell.
Throughout the workshop, you will be guided by Kévin Kaupert (Oprah et les garçons), dog behavioral trainer.
Our take on this event
Experience a hands-on session led by canine behaviorist Kévin Kaupert on October 3, 2026. Taking place from 14:00 to 15:00 within the grounds of Parc de Bercy, across both the romantic and Yitzhak Rabin gardens, this event is free of charge as part of the Fête de l'animal en ville initiative. The program is designed to help you and your dog improve coordination and mutual understanding.
The session kicks off with proprioception and warm-up exercises on various surfaces to help your dog build balance and focus despite surrounding urban stimuli. You will then transition to an agility course featuring tunnels, hurdles, and cones. These obstacles are tailored to suit your dog's specific morphology and skill level, while Kévin Kaupert provides guidance on handling techniques to manage impulsivity safely.
To conclude the hour, the workshop focuses on scent-based games designed to engage your dog's natural curiosity and flair. This comprehensive approach ensures that every participant leaves with practical insights into animal behavior and effective training methods.
