The exhibition Art Brut Ressourcé comes to the Halle Saint Pierre to showcase the collaborative work of La « S » Grand Atelier, a Belgian collective that redefines artistic boundaries. From October 3, 2026, to July 31, 2027, visitors can explore innovative works created by artists, many of whom live with mental disabilities, demonstrating the enduring vitality of Art Brut in the 21st century. This thought-provoking event, which challenges traditional labels, is open to the public daily with ticket prices ranging from 0 to 11 euros.
It is clear, as Michel Thévoz points out, that "the heroic era of Art Brut and its chosen areas—psychiatric, prison, and spiritualist—are now over." However, the author continues, art brut has lost neither its vitality nor its virulence. Notably, participatory workshops, of which La « S » Grand Atelier is a spearhead, represent one of the new sources of art brut in the 21st century.

On the occasion of this Art Brut Resourced exhibition, La Halle Saint-Pierre aims to somewhat deterritorialize the map of Art Brut by including the diversity of artistic forms and collaborations produced by this extraordinary Belgian community project.
