The Shoah Memorial hosts the workshop Le colporteur est un passeur on Sunday, November 29, 2026. Led by painter Anne Gorouben, participants use personal objects or photographs to create art pieces that explore family memory. This event is open to all skill levels, including beginners, and provides a creative space to reconnect with family history. The venue is fully wheelchair accessible, ensuring a welcoming environment for everyone. Two sessions are available on the day, from 11:30 to 13:30 and 15:30 to 17:30, at a price of 12€.
This workshop is based on images and objects of memory transmitted by previous generations. Participants are invited to come with a selection of objects, photographs, documents… Each person creates in one day, using reworked materials, a composition on paper (copies, drawing, collage). As an evocation, often restorative, this workshop allows us to reweave the ties that connect us to our ancestors caught in the turmoil of History.
Materials, paper, acrylic paint, pastels, pencils and charcoals are provided; if you have a preferred technique or medium, you can also use them.

All essential materials are provided on-site, including paper, acrylic paint, pastels, pencils, and charcoal. You are also welcome to bring any specific techniques or preferred materials if you wish.
The workshop is wheelchair accessible and open to everyone, regardless of artistic experience. You can choose between two time slots: 11:30 to 13:30 or 15:30 to 17:30. The entry fee is 12€ and booking is required to attend this 2-hour session.
