Bonsai Culture Expo 2026 – 6th editionNovember 14 and 15, 2026 – Parc Floral de Paris

For the very first time in France, and perhaps even in Europe, Bonsai Culture Expo welcomes, into this exclusively male world, a Japanese female bonsai expert: Kaori Yamada, 5th generation of the Seikou-en nursery, in Omiya, in the historic heart of the bonsai village.

Daughter of Tomio Yamada sensei, she continues and develops Saika Bonsai, a unique style created by her father. During the event, she will perform an exceptional demonstration by creating a Saika Bonsai composition, which will then enrich the Parc Floral de Paris bonsai collection – the very first permanent bonsai collection created in Europe, in 1989.

On the program:

  • Exceptional bonsai within the EXPO pavilion,
  • Demonstrations by Kaori YAMADA, translated into French.
  • Bonsai professionals: French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch...
  • High-quality artisan potters.
  • Japanese street-food and artisan stalls.

You will also be able to vote online for your favorite bonsai for the public prize.

Come and enrich your collection or adopt your first bonsai and discover how to care for it.

Discover this millennial Japanese art for a weekend at the Parc Floral de Paris.

Our take on this event

Taking place on November 14 and 15, 2026, the Bonsaï Culture Expo invites enthusiasts to the Parc Floral de Paris to experience the 6th edition of this international event. A key highlight is the presence of Kaori Yamada, who will showcase the Saïka Bonsai style. Her work will be added to the park’s permanent collection, which has been a staple of the location since 1989.

The event features a diverse array of professionals from across Europe, including potters and bonsai experts. Guests are encouraged to sample Japanese street food, browse artisanal stands, and cast their vote for the public choice award. The exhibition is open from 09:30 to 17:00, with ticket offices closing one hour before the event ends. Entry tickets are priced at 10 euros and cover both days.

Accessibility is a priority, with the venue equipped to accommodate wheelchair users, as well as guests with visual, auditory, or cognitive disabilities. To ensure accessibility for all, the demonstrations by Kaori Yamada will be translated into French, making the intricate techniques of Japanese bonsai care approachable for everyone attending.
