About
The Carreau du Temple hosts the 6th Paris edition of Solid’Art, a solidarity-focused contemporary art fair organized by Secours populaire. From March 25 to March 28, 2027, explore works by over one hundred artists, with all proceeds funding summer holidays for children in need. This event serves as a bridge between artistic creation and social support, aiming to ensure every child gets a vacation. Admission is free for all attendees. The venue is fully wheelchair accessible and provides specific adaptations for deaf, hard-of-hearing, blind, and visually impaired visitors, ensuring an inclusive experience for everyone.
A piece of art purchased means a child goes on vacation!
Solid’Art is a wonderful initiative by Secours populaire: helping as many children as possible go on vacation by collecting donations during a contemporary art fair. The funds raised will be converted into "sponsored vacation days" to send as many children away this summer. Even today, 1 in 3 children do not go on vacation.
Many artistic techniques are represented: painting, photography, street art, sculpture, engraving, drawing, screen printing; through the presence of a hundred artists. After Montpellier (Zénith Sud) and Lille (Hôtel de Ville), Le Carreau du Temple is delighted to host the Ile-de-France platform for this project, which sits at the perfect intersection of solidarity initiatives and the promotion of contemporary artistic creation.

Even today, 1 in 3 children do not go on vacation. After August 15th, a child who has not gone on vacation is unlikely to go at all.
Abdelsem Ghazi, Secretary General of Secours populaire de ParisOur take on this event
Solid’Art returns to the Carreau du Temple for its 6th edition, blending contemporary art with a vital social mission. Featuring a selection of about one hundred artists, the fair showcases a wide array of mediums including painting, sculpture, street art, photography, etching, drawing, and screen printing. Organized by Secours populaire, the project addresses the reality that one in three children never goes on holiday. By purchasing an artwork, visitors directly convert sales into vacation days for children, providing them with the opportunity to spend time away during the summer.
The event takes place from Thursday, March 25, 2027, to Sunday, March 28, 2027. Attendance is open to the public with free access throughout the period. The Carreau du Temple is equipped to welcome all visitors, featuring full wheelchair access. Additionally, the space is adapted to support deaf or hard-of-hearing individuals, as well as blind or visually impaired guests, making this a truly accessible cultural gathering for the local community.
