Inspired by the famous 17th-century 'Carte de Tendre' (Map of Tenderness), this interactive concert breathes new life into the sentimental 'Game of the Goose' of the period. From meeting to tenderness, each stage of the amorous journey finds its echo in Baroque music and its affects. The Le Damier ensemble invites the audience to an imaginary social gathering where we follow, with humor and emotion, the detours of the heart between sincerity, playfulness, and recognition.
